TKO CREDIT D.I.Y INSTRUCTIONS &TIPS FREE

Since you elected not to have a consultants help and go about it in the "Do It Yourself" (D.I.Y) way,(no hard feelings) just remember, these are sample letters, and they must be adjusted to your current situation. DELETE, ENTER, OR EDIT CORRECT INFO THAT SUITS YOUR SITUATION into each area of the letter. AT THE VERY BOTTOM OF PAGE IS MAILING ADDRESS FOR ALL 3 BUREAUS

  • Delete all LETTERHEADS i.e. (SAMPLE LETTER for XXXXXXX). MAKE SURE YOU PROOF READ AND INSERT/ENTER ALL RELIVENT INFORMATION IN THE CORRECT AREAS. USE INK WHEN APPLICABLE i.e. (your acct#, SSN) NEVER GIVE A COLLECTION AGENCY YOUR SSN they will use this to verify your identity against YOU. In boxing they call that “dropping your guard”

  • (?????), <????>,[???]= ENTER YOUR INFO, lose ( ) < > [ ] these are just indicators to where to put info

  • ANY WORDS IN ITALICS=REMOVE ITALICS AND USE REGULAR FONT

  • NOTE: Do not copy the sample letters included in Dispute Letter word for word. You do not want credit bureaus or creditors to get several letters written exactly the same. Instead, purchase some paragraphs & inserts on this site to add or substitute some parts of the letter, or come up with some of your own.

  • CHANGE EVERY WORD IN ITALICS TO YOUR OWN PERSONAL INFO IN ALL DISPUTE LETTERS. TAKE OUT ALL DUMMY INFO: YOUR NAME, YOUR ADDRESS, CITY, CREDITOR/BUREAU NAME AND ADDRESS, BALANCE, ACCT # , AND OTHER INFO THAT NEEDS TO BE EDITED, etc…and put in the correct or current info of your own DATES.

  •  MAKE SURE YOU ADD YOUR OWN WORDS IN DISPUTE LETTERS, NOT EXACT WORD FOR WORD (the bureaus are not blind idiots so if hundreds or a few dozen letters come to them word for word it may look frivolous and will not be taken seriously)

1. Change everything in Italics to regular font that collaborate with the rest of the letter. The Italics just mean that info should be adjusted to fit for intended target. Everything else in the letter stays the same.

2. Everything in Italics means that the info is editable for you to insert different and corresponding info for that area. for example:

    a) The name of creditor and their full address, current date, account numbers in the header

    b) All the dates that mail was received/delivered in the body of dispute

    c) The balances, and name of creditor in the dispute

    d) Take out all DUMMY info in Italics and change to your info ie (YOUR NAME, YOUR ADDRESS ETC)

    e) (_____) parentheses means change and put in your own info

3. AFTER EDITING AND BEFORE SENDING OFF, REMEMBER TO REMOVE ALL (___) AND OTHER CAPTIONS FROM AROUND WORDS, MAKE SURE NOTING IS IN ITALICS, AND WORDS IN BOLD ARE TO GRAB ATTENTION TO SHOW IMPORTANCE…KEEP IT BOLD and if ALL CAPS keep as well in the body of letter

Basically edit everything that is changeable for each letter to make sense to who you’re sending it to. Don’t forget to proof read, print, get mail certified before mailing.

EXAMPLE OF REAL DIY LETTER

  • TO ELIMINATE THE CHANCES OF YOUR LETTERS BEING SENT THROUGH AN AUTOMATED SYSTEM CALLED e-oscar, YOU SHOULD WRITE SOME PARTS OF THE LETTER HAND WRITTEN, PREFERABLY WHERE YOU GIVE ACCT#’s IN THE BEGINNING, and SSN ,AND SIGNATURE AT THE BOTTOM. E-OSCAR WILL KICK IT OUT THE SYSTEM AND MAKE HUMAN EYES READ YOUR DISPUTE. (THAT’S WHAT YOU WANT TO HAPPEN)

  • IN MY OPINION, GREETINGS LIKE GENTELMEN: OR LADIES AND GENTLEMEN: SHOULD BE CHANGED TO GREETINGS; OR TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN;

  • PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PROOF READ BEFORE YOU PRINT AND MAIL YOUR LETTERS!!! MAKE sure you take out ALL THE (   ) >  <  [    ] and words in italics!!! It's like school and the teacher gave you homework and your friend let you copy off his or her homework and you had to make sure you take their info out and put your info in where it's suppose to go. And proof read your DIY letters before you send. It will be your fault if you send errors and the bureaus or creditor don't respond or respond in a way you don't like
